Portuguese Quail
Heat the camp oven and brown the quail in some oil, add in the onion and carrot and cook till onion is translucent. Mix up the recipe base with the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste and garlic, pour it over the quail. Cover the camp oven and slow cook for 3 hours,turning the quail every so often. Add in the capsicum and cook a further 30 minutes. Serve on rice or mashed potato.
